The decision to acquire PIX aligns with Autodesk’s findings from its 2023 State of Design and Make report, which emphasized operational efficiency and value creation as primary business drivers for media and entertainment companies. The acquisition of PIX is anticipated to significantly enhance collaboration and communication, while also streamlining production processes to save customers time and money. This move is in line with Autodesk’s vision of optimizing pre- and post-production data connectivity for customers through Flow, the Media & Entertainment industry cloud on Autodesk’s Design and Make platform.
